Small but perfectly formed and set in beautiful North Berwick, Fringe by the Sea is a miniature of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Highlights include the Belhaven Spiegeltent, part of the ‘tented village’, which will be home to eclectic musical performances, open air theatre in The Lodge Gardens, jazz with dinner at the Glen, and a plethora of comedy, cabaret, talks and children’s events at various other venues ensures there is something for the whole family.
The testament to this wee festival’s success is that they have added days and venues to this years schedule, and such is its popularity that ScotRail are repeating last year’s special late-night service for the duration of the event.
All the fun of the fringe is promised, with added gulps of fresh sea air and fish & chips on the prom.
